After securing one silver and four bronze Lions on Day 2 of the 71st edition of the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, Indian agencies have continued their impressive performance with five additional shortlists announced today (June 19, 2024). These new shortlists are in the Sustainable Development Goals category, marking the final shortlist announcements for this year's festival. Five campaigns have made it to the Sustainable Development Goals category this year, including three from Leo Burnett and two from McCann Worldgroup. Leo Burnett’s ‘Period Science for Moms’ for P&G Whisper has been shortlisted in two sub-categories: Good Health & Wellbeing, and Quality Education. Additionally, the agency’s ‘Drops of Joy’ campaign for Lay's was shortlisted in the sub-category - Responsible Consumption & Production.
McCann Worldgroup’s ‘Fit My Feet’ for Buckaroo Footwear and ‘Dabba Savings Account’ for ESAF Small Finance Bank have been shortlisted in Good Health & Wellbeing, and Gender Equality, respectively.
