Mandeep Malhotra, Chief Learner, Srishti Media & Investments talks about I Am Game, a two-day sports conclave which is scheduled for October 9 -10, 2024 at Pullman, Aerocity Delhi. He also shares how I Am Game will be revolutionising the Indian sporting ecosystem, despite being a new entrant in the sports industry.
“I understand that on-ground events are far superior to most of the events that have taken place. And all the founders of I Am Game believe that we can create an experience that truly stands apart. Therefore, anyone engaged with I Am Game—be it policymakers, talent managers, athlete managers, investors, franchises, or those involved in opportunities and infrastructure—will have a significant takeaway from this IP. Moreover, our goal is to build a three-digit medal tally for India. This can’t be achieved through just one event, but this will be our war cry to reach 100 Olympic medals across several Olympics.
With this vision in mind, what sets I Am Game apart is our effort to bring together all stakeholders—from infrastructure and equipment on one end, to athletes and financial resources on the other; to policymakers, scouts, and the entire intermediary chain of involvement. This includes educational stakeholders, schools, and colleges, where the foundation for sports exposure is laid,” explains Malhotra, while adding further that the initiative won’t be limited to a single event; it will evolve into a year-round activity with various smaller chapters to keep the momentum going.
