Zypp Electric, a leading tech-enabled EV-as-a-service platform in India, has launched its festive campaign titled “Zypp Diwali Bonanza,” which runs from 20th October to 20th November 2024. This initiative aims to celebrate Diwali while providing financial rewards and long-term benefits to gig workers, particularly Zypp Pilots.
The campaign will reward the top 30 Zypp Pilots across India with gold and silver coins based on their performance. Additionally, Zypp Electric has introduced an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) valued at ?15 lakhs for the five longest-serving delivery partners. This initiative is designed to recognise their contributions and offer a pathway to financial security and retirement benefits.
With the festive season being a peak period for quick-commerce and food delivery services, Zypp Electric aims to support its gig workforce. As part of the campaign, current and former Zypp Pilots will have the chance to double their earnings on Diwali day, 31st October, incentivising them to maximise their earnings during this significant occasion. The company has also launched a rent-to-own scooter ownership plan, allowing delivery partners to eventually own the scooters they use.
