ZARA is set to delight fashion enthusiasts with the launch of the Cutie Circus collection, a second collaboration between renowned fashion stylist Harry Lambert and the brand. This 70-piece offering invites customers to step into a vibrant fantasy reminiscent of a circus, with designs inspired by joyful spaces like seaside coasts and theme parks.
Harry Lambert draws from a nostalgic colour palette and design details, creating vintage-inspired pieces that evoke a sense of joy. Lambert's approach encourages inclusivity, focusing on what he would love to find while thrifting, with a clear nod to the Seventies. His extensive research led him to explore photographs and memorabilia from various circus settings, resulting in a collection that embodies the spirit of "Cutie Chaos."
The collection features polka-dot shirts, oversized tartan outerwear, and retro Harrington jackets, all infused with whimsical details. A standout item is the cropped ringmaster-like blazer, styled with a casual tee, alongside barrel-leg trousers in pastel corduroy and denim, inspired by classic clown costumes. Fun prints and playful slogans, such as “Free popcorn,” enhance the circus theme.
At the heart of the collection are meticulously crafted T-shirts, designed for a lived-in, vintage feel, offering an effortless sense of joy. These T-shirts, available in stripes and vibrant colours, aim to uplift everyday outfits.
The collection's highlight is a series of bespoke illustrations created by artist Aysha Nagieva, who collaborated closely with Lambert. “It was such a fun, immediate process where every idea could be developed and expanded upon,” she explains. Nagieva's use of watercolours adds a contemporary twist to the vintage circus aesthetic, enriching the overall collection.
The Cutie Circus collection will be available online and in selected stores starting September 20.
