The Women Inspiring Network (WIN) is set to take part in Climate Week NYC 2024, held from September 22 to 29, in conjunction with the United Nations General Assembly. This annual event, coordinated with the United Nations and the City of New York, provides a prime platform for WIN to drive impactful discussions and inspire global action on pressing issues.
Stuti Jalan, founder of WIN, will curate a panel titled “Driving Sustainable Futures through Women's Leadership in STEM” at the World Woman Future Forum at the Microsoft Office in Times Square. The panel will feature prominent leaders, including Rashmi Joshi, CEO & Founder of Asha AI; Jyotsana Sankuratri, Assistant Vice President at Voya Financial; Andrea Feigl, Founder & CEO of the Health Finance Institute; and Japneet Kaur, Security & Risk Management Lead. This session aims to highlight the vital role women play in STEM fields in advancing sustainability and innovation.
In addition, Stuti will participate in a discussion on “A Cultural Renaissance: Preserving Tradition and Fostering Innovation in the Digital Age” at the Fusion Fashion Tech Summit, another official Climate Week NYC event. This session will feature speakers such as Sarah Kornfeld, Co-Founder of Rising Partners, and Mehak Agrawal, Global Sustainability Spokesperson for Climate Clock.
Stuti Jalan expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “We are honoured to participate in Climate Week NYC 2024 and contribute to essential conversations on sustainability and women’s leadership. This opportunity allows us to showcase how our voices and innovations are crucial in driving a sustainable future.”
WIN has been active in numerous international events this year, including the World Economic Forum in Davos and the Cannes Film Festival. Stuti's participation in Climate Week NYC further underscores her commitment to leveraging creativity and women's leadership to instigate significant societal change.
Beyond the panels, Stuti will engage in high-profile events during the Summit of the Future Action Days at the UN Headquarters, including sessions with global leaders such as Al Gore and John Kerry. She will also attend various receptions and events, enhancing WIN's visibility and influence in the sustainability discourse.
This participation reaffirms WIN's dedication to empowering women and promoting sustainable practices in technology and leadership on a global scale.
