V-Guard Industries has launched a poignant short film this Diwali, aiming to resonate with audiences through its theme of new beginnings. The film has rapidly gained traction, accumulating nearly a million views within just two days of its release across various social media platforms.
Conceptualised by V-Guard’s creative agency, Ralph & Das, the film features two elderly neighbours who engage in light-hearted banter while crafting rangolis on Diwali evening. As their playful exchange unfolds, a heartfelt moment of empathy and compassion emerges, leading to a significant gesture of togetherness.
Mr. Nandagopal Nair, VP & Head of Brand & Communications at V-Guard Industries, stated, "At V-Guard, we believe relationships are fundamental to our existence. Our brand values of trust, care, and reliability are rooted in nurturing these relationships. Diwali is a time for strengthening bonds and initiating new beginnings. This film embodies our philosophy of fostering a better tomorrow through an inspiring and emotional narrative."
Mr. Anil Ralph Thomas, Director and Chief Creative Officer at Ralph & Das, commented on the project, saying, "A clear brief from the client allows for effective storytelling. Our goal was to create a film that reflects the essence of the brand—optimism and a commitment to a better tomorrow—without the pressure of promoting a specific product category. The focus was on telling a relevant and touching human story."
Mr. Kaustav Das, COO of Ralph & Das, added, "Our objective has always been to elevate the conversation beyond mere transactions and establish a genuine affinity for the brand’s perspective. We believe the V-Guard Diwali film accomplishes this effectively."
The film is available for viewing on V-Guard’s social media channels, inviting viewers to embrace the spirit of new beginnings this Diwali.
