Sandwizzaa, a Mumbai-based quick-service restaurant (QSR), celebrated its 38th anniversary on 3rd November, coinciding with World Sandwich Day. To mark this milestone, the brand partnered with Magic Bus, a well-known NGO focused on child welfare and livelihood development, for a special event at the Magic Bus centre in Malad, Mumbai. The celebration included a distribution of Sandwizzaa's sandwiches to the children, alongside interactive activities aimed at fostering community engagement.
The event was attended by CEO Sachin Lele, who spoke to the children about career opportunities, personal growth, and the importance of social responsibility. “We are grateful to Magic Bus for hosting us on this special day,” said Lele. “Our growth over the last 38 years has been driven by the loyalty of our customers, and this celebration is a way to give back to the community.”
In addition to the celebratory event, Sandwizzaa announced its new initiative to support youth employment. The company will now offer job opportunities to young adults from Magic Bus, hiring them for various roles across its outlets in Mumbai. The partnership aims to empower these young individuals with career pathways and help them gain practical experience in the hospitality industry.
Sagar Sinkar, Regional Director at Magic Bus, expressed gratitude for the partnership, saying, “It’s been a pleasure to host the Sandwizzaa team. The kids had a wonderful time, and we are thankful for the company’s support in creating employment opportunities for our youth.”
By partnering with Magic Bus, Sandwizzaa reinforces its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community welfare. The initiative aligns with the company’s values of inclusivity, social impact, and sustainable growth.
