Yum! Brands has announced the appointment of Rohan Pewekar as the Managing Director of Pizza Hut Indian Subcontinent. Based in Gurgaon, Rohan will oversee the brand's operations in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives as Pizza Hut embarks on its next phase of expansion in the region.
An alumnus of IIM Calcutta and The Wharton School, Rohan has been with Pizza Hut for over four years, previously serving as Chief Strategy and Finance Officer. With nearly 15 years of experience in the B2C sector across multiple countries, he brings a wealth of expertise in finance, go-to-market strategies, and channel expansion.
Commenting on his new role, Rohan Pewekar said, “Pizza Hut has experienced incredible growth, now boasting nearly 900 restaurants across over 200 cities in India. Prior to his tenure at Pizza Hut, Rohan worked with Samsung Electronics India, leading several high-impact strategic initiatives. Earlier, he advised clients on market entry strategies and digital transformation at Accenture Strategy Consulting.
