Om Logistics, a trailblazer in supply chain and logistics management in India, has announced a landmark acquisition of Inland Container Depot (ICD) Bawal in Haryana for INR 110 crore. This significant investment underscores Om Logistics' commitment to enhancing its operational capabilities and solidifying its leadership position in the industry.
Strategically positioned along the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) within the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) industrial estate, ICD Bawal spans 20 acres and serves as a state-of-the-art multimodal logistics hub. The facility is equipped with two automated rail lines, a 30,000 sq. ft. custom bonded warehouse, and a capacity to manage 5,000 containers of EXIM cargo each month.
ICD Bawal’s exceptional connectivity is a standout feature, linking directly to major ports such as Mundra, Pipavav, and JNPT, which ensures smooth and efficient cargo movement. The depot’s proximity to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) and other airports facilitates streamlined air cargo handling. Additionally, its strategic location near NH48 and NH71 provides easy road access to northern and western India. ICD Bawal also benefits from direct connectivity to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) and Indian Railways, enhancing its rail cargo capabilities.
This acquisition enables Om Logistics to expand its PAN India operations, reduce average transit times and optimize supply chain management.
