MG Hector, India’s first internet SUV, celebrated its 5-year anniversary in India by achieving a remarkable milestone.
‘The ultimate expedition’, in collaboration with Mountain Goat, has secured the “Fastest Drive from the Lowest to the Highest Altitude on Road,” feat in the prestigious India Book of Records.
The expedition began in Kuttanad (7 feet below sea level) in Kerala on July 27, starting at 1:30 p.m and concluded at Umling La (19024 feet above sea level) in Ladakh on July 30, 2024 at 8:28 am, covering an impressive 3,846 kilometres in just 66 hours and 58 minutes.
MG HECTOR conveniently drove passed the depths of Kuttanad to the towering heights of Umling La, and became the fastest SUV to drive from the lowest to the highest motorable road, as confirmed on August 2, 2024.
