KP Group Appoints Dr. Alok Das as Group CEO

KP Group has appointed Dr. Alok Das as its new Group CEO, effective today, November 11. With over 30 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, Dr. Das will lead the group’s 35 companies, including KPI Green Energy and KP Energy, towards achieving ambitious goals in sustainable energy, with a focus on reaching a 10 GW capacity by 2030.

Dr. Das’s expertise in solar, wind, and hybrid energy systems, as well as his strategic vision, makes him an ideal fit to help the group grow both domestically and internationally. He is also known for his pivotal role in shaping the renewable energy landscape in India.

A proud alumnus of IIT Kanpur, where he earned his Ph.D. in Renewable Energy, Dr. Das has held senior positions at leading firms, including Suzlon Energy, Reliance Energy, and NEPC Michon Limited. His career has spanned strategic planning, project management, and international business development, with a focus on advancing renewable energy policies.

As Group CEO, Dr. Das will oversee KP Group’s overall growth strategy, driving the successful execution of renewable energy projects. His appointment strengthens KP Group's position in the renewable energy sector.
