Holding a PhD in Anthropology from King’s College London, Rahul Advani has focused on technology, youth, class, and gender dynamics. His ethnographic research on the social media habits of lower-middle-class young men in western India highlights his expertise in navigating complex cultural landscapes. He began his academic journey at the National University of Singapore and has contributed significantly to both academic literature and consumer research, including positions at Quantum Consumer Solutions.
Advani’s work has been featured in peer-reviewed journals and he co-authored a book on the cultural connections between Singapore and India. His insights have also appeared in The Straits Times, showcasing his role as a thought leader in cultural anthropology. In addition to his academic achievements, he is a talented singer and songwriter, infusing creativity into his research.
