Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) has officially launched the HIT Spray Matic, an automatic mosquito spray device that is the first of its kind registered by the government in India. This innovative gadget aims to enhance mosquito control in households, delivering instant protection against mosquito-borne diseases. The product is exclusively available on Amazon India.
The HIT Spray Matic sets a new standard in pest control, with its automatic daily cycle that releases a spray every two hours for up to six hours, providing 12 hours of continuous protection. This technology-driven solution is part of GCPL's extensive portfolio aimed at safeguarding homes across India from the threat of mosquitoes.
According to a recent report by Redseer, the demand for smart home devices in India is growing rapidly, with penetration rates expected to reach 12-15% by 2025. This increase is attributed to wider internet access, with 55% of the population now online.
Shilpa Suresh, Head of Marketing – Home Care at GCPL, commented on the launch: "At GCPL, our commitment to pioneering effective and safe solutions for mosquito control remains unwavering. With HIT Spray Matic, we are introducing India’s only government registered automatic mosquito spray device, poised to redefine mosquito protection in Indian homes. The early response from our exclusive launch on Amazon has been exceptionally positive, reinforcing our belief that HIT Spray Matic will become a household essential across the country."
The device is designed to be user-friendly, operating autonomously to ensure a mosquito-free environment, even with open doors and windows. Each refill lasts up to two months and emits a mild, pleasant fragrance, effectively combining efficacy with comfort. Priced at INR 650, the HIT Spray Matic can be easily mounted on walls, ensuring seamless integration into any room.
With the introduction of the HIT Spray Matic, GCPL strengthens its commitment to delivering innovative solutions that prioritise safety, convenience, and effectiveness in the battle against mosquitoes.
