DDB Mudra has announced the appointment of Priya Shivakumar as the new Creative Head for the South region. In her role, Priya will collaborate closely with Rahul Mathew, Chief Creative Officer of DDB Mudra Group, and share leadership responsibilities with Menaka Menon, President – Growth and Strategy at DDB Mudra.
Joining from Wunderman Thompson (JWT), where she advanced from Executive Creative Director in Chennai to Chief Creative Officer (South), Priya brings over two decades of experience and a distinguished record in creative leadership. Her work has garnered numerous accolades, including Cannes Lions, D&AD Pencils, One Show Pencils, and Spikes Asia awards. A notable recent achievement includes the impactful campaign “Hidden Truth,” which addresses domestic violence.
Commenting on her new position, Priya said, “I'm thrilled to join DDB Mudra and contribute to the legacy of creating culturally resonant brands. These are exciting times where storytelling can take new and unexpected forms—through technology, craft, or experience.
