In anticipation of India’s Independence Day, Capgemini India hosted a series of walkathons across its offices, engaging over 6,000 employees in a collective celebration of national pride. The events were led by key figures including Ashwin Yardi, CEO of Capgemini India; Aarti Srivastava, Chief Human Resources Officer – India; Sarika Naik, Group Chief Responsibility Officer; and Sanjay Chalke, Chief Operating Officer – India.
The walkathons, which took place at various Capgemini office locations, saw employees donning vibrant tricolour attire, reflecting the spirit of independence and unity. The campuses were animated with patriotic songs and spirited slogans, creating an immersive and festive atmosphere that underscored the importance of freedom and national pride.
The celebration extended beyond the walkathons with a series of internal contests designed to engage employees creatively. These contests included digital art competitions, reels, and quizzes, all themed around Independence Day. The activities provided a platform for employees to showcase their creativity and enthusiasm, contributing to a dynamic and interactive office environment.
