Canva, the all-in-one visual communication platform, has unveiled significant new products and features aimed at transforming design processes for users worldwide. This announcement coincides with Canva's achievement of 200 million monthly active users and an annualised revenue of $2.5 billion.
The standout feature is Dream Lab, powered by Leonardo.Ai, a generative AI tool enabling users to create stunning visualisations and build an expansive content library from mere ideas. This tool allows for the generation of multiple variations in over 15 styles, including 3D renders and illustrations, significantly enhancing Canva's image generation capabilities.
Canva also announced numerous upgrades to its Visual Suite, which now includes improved functionalities for Magic Write, interactive charts, and AI-powered whiteboards. These features are designed to enhance collaboration and creativity among users.
As part of its global expansion, Canva has partnered with content studios such as Artlist and pocstock, increasing its content library to over 100 million assets. New Work Kits tailored for small businesses, teachers, and students have also been introduced to facilitate efficient project management and lesson planning.
Melanie Perkins, Co-Founder and CEO of Canva, expressed her excitement about the platform's growth, stating, “We’re incredibly excited to now be empowering more than 200 million people in nearly every country across the globe. We feel we’re always just 1% of the way there.”
