IMPACT’s 50 Most Influential Women in Media, Marketing and Advertising list 2019 focuses on women whose power in business derives from a combination of influence, success in delivering business outcomes and real personal responsibility. These are women whose contributions have had significant impact on the industry and their peers. This year, the list saw a healthy representation of women from across domains such as media, advertising, marketing, digital, design, PR and market research. Tanya Dubash, Executive Director and Chief Brand Officer, Godrej Industries, topped the list this year for her work in building up the Godrej masterbrand. The list this year was finalized by a jury of esteemed industry leaders led by Sam Balsara, Chairman & MD, Madison World. Other names on the jury this year were Animesh Kumar, Chief People Officer, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, Anuradha Aggarwal, Former CMO, Marico, Avinash Kaul, COO, Network18, Avinash Pandey, CEO, ABP News Network, Delna Avari, Management Consultant, Ferzad Palia, Head, Youth, Music And English Entertainment, Viacom18, Punitha Arumugham, Platform Evangelist, Hotstar, Rajeev Beotra, CEO, Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd, Rekha Koshy, Consultant, Media & Consumer, Spencer Stuart, Shalini Kamath, Founder & CEO, SK & Associates and Suresh Balakrishna, Chief Revenue Officer, The Hindu Group.
