Cricket has had a significant influence on my life since I was a child. I grew up watching matches in the middle of the night, and now I keep up with trends, whether they are T20, ODI, Test cricket, World Cup matches, or other cricket league matches. Cricket has taught me valuable life lessons which I have incorporated into my personal and professional life, whether it is about rivalry, a fight for victory, a struggle to survive, or even a desire to succeed at all costs. As a result, I have lived by the mantra, ‘good techniques never go out of style.’
Additionally, cricket is a game that has parallels to the corporate world. The corporate team may also succeed by emphasizing on teamwork, mental toughness, and cricket techniques. I am a cricket follower in addition to being a fan. At times, it’s beneficial to connect with sports and use equivalent business tactics.
Basically in terms of cricket, a straight drive can never be replaced, regardless of how advanced the game has become. Similarly, a straight drive in business yields the most successful results, and I live by it to this very day. According to me, a straight drive is nothing more than a way for any organization to conduct its business in an open, transparent, and honest manner. Generally, a straight-drive approach pays off when you provide your firm with a great deal of transparency and clarity.
I consider the straight drive to be one of the most important principles in our business. As a company, we always encourage our employees to be transparent, own up to their mistakes, and follow the basics correctly. Our dedication to these mantras has enabled us to attract loyal and committed customers, which has helped us to remain in business not only over the past 13 years, but during the pandemic as well. In addition, people appreciated the straight-drive approach we brought to business that came from our hearts, which revealed our vulnerabilities, failures, and the assistance we required at certain stages, as well as the pride that we could bring to business in many ways. In light of this, my business motto is ‘Straight Drive.’
